Fudge Brownies
Ingredients:
1 1/4 cups margarine
4 large eggs
2 cups sugar
1 1/2 all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons vanilla
3/4 cup cocoa
2 cups nuts (optional)
Directions: Preheat oven to 350°F.

Melt butter and add cocoa; mix. Stir in sugar and blend in the eggs, one at a time. Add vanilla. Stir in flour and nuts; mix well.

Bake in greased 9 x 13-inch pan for 30 minutes in preheated oven. Let cool on rack, 20 to 30 minutes. Cut into 20 square pieces.
Servings: 20
Calories/Serving: 224
Nutrition: One brownie contains approximately (with walnuts): 224 calories, 3 g protein, 29 g carbohydrates, 1 g fiber, 12 g fat (3 g saturated), 43 mg cholesterol, 20 mcg folate, 1 mg iron, 124 mg sodium.

I agree with the first person. This was an excellent recipe. I didn't have the problem of the other person. I used all organic ingredients and melted the butter first and then combined it with the chocolate and then combined that with the rest of the ingredients. I constantly am requested this recipe. Highly recommended.

What a waste of ingredients! There was so much butter there was standing, foaming butter floating on top of the brownies when they were finished baking. Then when all the butter was sopped off, the brownies were flat, dry and unedible!

This is an awesome recipe! Very highly recommened. This is a hit at our office. They are nice and moist. Just wonderful!
