I made these for my husband who plays a lot of tennis. They are better than the commercial Power Bars, easy to make and nutritious because you know what the ingredients are.

This is one of my husband's favorite for dessert. He likes some pudding along with it.

I didn't rate this very high because none of my four children liked them. I even added some choc. chips, thinking it would get them excited about this new recipe. I must say that my husband liked them so they did not go uneaten. My goal was a yummy and healthy treat for the kids.

I thought Some of these recipes look good for kids and to help them stay heathly. Also to keep them energized and to be up and going.

I could not wait to make these when I seen them on Nubella.com. Thet turned out great. I didn't have the wheat germ so I used grape nut cereal instead. I also added a few organic chocolate chips in with the 1 cup of mixed dried fruit. I have been looking for a recipe to replace buying the bars at the store. Thank you I have it right up front in my recipe box .
